| Did you send the crank out for polishing and line hone the block? Did you/machine shop inspect/measure the crank journals? Keep in mind that even if the crank looks ok, they might be out of round or distorted to the thousand of an inch. I am not trying to put you down, but I have built and installed quite a few TT blocks. Main and rod bearing spec are the most important part of the built. For crank that has knock before, it's best to drilled/tapped the oil plugs so you can clean the oil galleries thoroughly. All oil plugs on block should be drill/tap too for the same reason. Bearing material might be trapped in the galleries and without running a brush thru the galleries, you can't clean them 100%. Best thing to do is to get undersize bearings and have good machine shop make sure that clearance is up to spec(remember, there is a reason why the knock happened...something was not right. just replacing new bearing will eventually put you back to square one), polished/balance the crank, line hone the block etc. LOL this is starting to sound like a complete engine built..but do it right the first time, you don't have to do it again. Just my 2 cents :)
